Yes, pre-orders are available for groups of 10 or more so we can prepare everything on time for you.

Absolutely! All of our packaging is 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Just let us know if you’d like your local treats to go and we’ll pack them in covered takeaway containers.

Oh yes – and that’s a good sign! We prepare everything fresh daily, using seasonal, local ingredients and small-batch cooking. That also means quantities are limited and we sometimes run out, especially in the busy summer season.

Most of our dishes are naturally gluten-free, but please note: everything is prepared in the same kitchen, so cross-contamination is possible. If you have severe allergies, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Most of the time, yes! Our forest mushroom dish is usually vegan or can easily be made vegan. If mushrooms aren’t available, we always try to offer at least one plant-based dish, like our home garden zucchini stew.

Absolutely! Our frika is vegetarian, as are our forest mushroom dishes and sheep cottage cheese with potatoes. Plenty of tasty options without meat!

You can buy it in our little wooden hut in the main square of Bovec or at our headquarters. You can also place an order through our online shop, if you order it in Slovenia — we’ll deliver it straight to your door!

Unfortunately not. We pick all mushrooms ourselves in the forests around Bovec and the quantities are very limited. We use them exclusively for preparing our local dishes or for pickling, so we can share their flavors throughout the year.
